The United State’s 10th largest and most intense river system, dropping an average of 12 feet per mile, every year Alaska’s Copper River becomes the center of an extraordinary journey – the Sockeye Salmon’s 300 mile swim upstream.

This intense journey requires extra stores of omega-3 fatty acids, making the Copper River Alaskan Sockeye Salmon some of the world’s most prized catch. There is no other Salmon like this, and this Salmon is available for only a short time each year.

A long time resource for Alaskan Natives and Fisherman, rest assured that you support sustainability when choosing Alaskan Salmon. Written into the State’s Constitution is a mandate that “fish…be utilized, developed, and maintained on the sustained yield principle.” Weekly aerial surveys and regular check points monitor the amount of salmon that head to the spawning ground on their journey, and this management has assured an abundance of sockeye salmon for generations to come.
