Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees fahrenheit and start by separating pumpkin seeds from pumpkin flesh and placing seeds in a separate bowl. Melt butter in either the microwave or on the stove top. Next, coat the pumpkin seeds in the butter. spread all seeds evenly in a single layer on a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt. Bake seeds for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. After 45 minutes, or a point when the seeds are golden brown, remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving. Freeze pumpkin seeds in an airtight container, after they’ve cooled, if you plan on saving them for more than a few days.
