Caraluzzi's Announces Scholarship Winners
Founded by Anthony and Roberta Caraluzzi in 2001, The Anthony and Julia Caraluzzi Family Scholarship has assisted over 85 Western Connecticut State University undergraduates in meeting their educational costs since its creation. Awarded to select students enrolled in Western’s Ancell School of Business, the scholarship is named after the founders of Caraluzzi’s Markets, a local business that has remained a community supporter for over 6 decades and three generations. Anthony and Roberta created the scholarship to help encourage future business leaders in Fairfield County, just as Anthony and Julia encouraged their children and grandchildren to pursue excellence in business. Caraluzzi’s is proud to announce the Scholarship recipients for the 2013/2014 academic year, with this years grants amounting to a total of over $25,000.
