Caraluzzi's Launches Curbside Pickup in their Newtown and Georgetown Supermarkets

Caraluzzi's Markets has launched a comprehensive curbside pickup program offering easy online shopping and contactless pickup at their Georgetown and Newtown store locations.

Caraluzzi’s Curbside offers the convenience of shopping 24/7 from your phone, tablet or PC. Customers simply sign-in to their secure account then choose their store and add items to their cart and select a pickup time. With dedicated parking spaces at the stores, customers simply pull in at their selected time and call the curbside pickup number. It’s 100% contactless, easy to use and there are no fees for using the service.

Caraluzzi’s currently has over 12,000 items available to order online for curbside pickup, and is adding more items daily, making it easy for customers to get everything they need in one trip. Necessary safety protocols are followed at all times and provide an extra level of confidence in the service for customers.

The Caraluzzi’s Curbside team members pay special attention to detail in selecting perishables and other items across all departments of the store. “We’ve had customers tell us that our team does a better job of picking the produce than they do themselves,” said Mark Caraluzzi, President and CEO of Caraluzzi’s Markets.

Curbside pickup launched in the spring of this year at the Newtown store location where it immediately received customer accolades for the fast and friendly service. It was then added to their Georgetown location in September. Plans are in the works for a delivery service as well. “When my grandfather started the business over 70 years ago he took phone orders for customer pickup and also made home deliveries. It’s all coming full circle,” said Mr. Caraluzzi.
