Ingredients

  • 4 Boneless Pork Chops ¾” thick (1.5 lbs)
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Caraluzzi’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 15 oz. Pkg Caraluzzi’s Marsala Sauce
  • 1 8 oz. Bag Bag Pero Farms French Green Beans
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 pkg Caraluzzi’s Mashed Potatoes (approx. 1.25 lb)

Instructions

  • Warm marsala sauce in pan on stove top while preparing the pork chops.
  • Salt & pepper both sides of the pork chops. Put flour in a small dish and coat both sides of each chop in a light dusting of flour.
  • In a medium size pan with a cover, add olive oil and butter at medium-high heat. When butter melts place chops in the hot pan and quickly brown each side approximately 2 minutes per side.
  • In the pan with the chops add the marsala sauce and it will semi-cover the pork chops. Put lid on the pan and bring to a boil and then immediately turn down heat and simmer approximately 8 minutes. About halfway through flip over the chops so they cook evenly. Pork is done when temped to 145 degrees F.
  • Heat mashed potatoes, can start that when the pork is simmering. Then on individual plates place a dollop of mashed potatoes wit

Notes

Can be served with warm bread and tastes delicious dipped in the sauce on the plate.
Also, can substitute boneless chicken breast cutlets instead of pork chops if prefer.
